The famous Hollywood film ‘Legally Blonde’ had already been transformed into a Broadway hit. Not long after, AuFond Productions adapted the all-American romance for the Flemish stage. The story follows Elle Woods, the seemingly superficial blonde who surprises everyone with her determination. Together with her loyal chihuahua, she takes the audience on a sparkling journey filled with humor, heart, and catchy music. Thanks to this adaptation, Flemish theatre fans could finally enjoy the pink-colored world of ‘Legally Blonde’  in their own language.

To launch the production, AuFond Productions entered a creative partnership with Basic-Fit. This collaboration pushed the cast beyond their usual rehearsals. The actors traded the rehearsal room for treadmills, dumbbells, and exercise bikes. In fact, the team headed to the Basic-Fit complex in Ekeren to film a playful and sporty trailer. As a result, the campaign immediately stood out from traditional musical promotions. The combination of fitness energy and theatrical glamour gave the show a fresh and modern look, while also underlining Elle Woods’s unstoppable drive.
